Roundglass Punjab FC Opens Six New Development Centres to Promote Local Football Talent

Mohali, October 21: Roundglass Punjab FC has announced the launch of six new development centers across Punjab with the aim of nurturing the next generation of football talent. With this expansion, Roundglass Punjab FC now operates 15 development centres, showcasing the organization’s commitment to promoting grassroots football and empowering young players in the region.

The new centres will be operational in Pandori Ran Singh and Bibipura in Tarn Taran, Dhilwan in Kapurthala, Jaito Sarja in Gurdaspur, Sant Baba Hari Singh Model School in Mahalpur and Mustabaad in Fategharh Sahib. A total of 560 kids – 470 boys and 90 girls – will be given training at the new development centres.

These new centers will provide comprehensive training programs, expert coaching, and essential resources to aspiring football players, ensuring they have the opportunity to develop their skills and reach their full potential. The initiative is part of Roundglass Sports’ mission to promote sports participation as a vital component of enabling holistic wellbeing of the youth encompassing physical, emotional, and social dimensions.
Speaking on the development, Nikolaos Topoliatis, Football Director of Roundglass Sports said, “We believe that every child deserves a chance to play the sport they love. The six new centers will offer training sessions with qualified coaches, access to professional infrastructure, and development programmes tailored to meet the needs of young players. Roundglass Punjab FC aims to continue this momentum with plans to launch additional centers in the coming months. The expanded network of development centers will provide vital opportunities for talent identification and skill development, ensuring that Punjab remains a competitive force in Indian football.
