
Mohali, September 12: Punjab FC has achieved a significant milestone by being awarded a 5-star rating in the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) Annual Academy Accreditation Programme 2025–26. The recognition highlights the club’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young talent, developing a world-class player pathway, and setting new benchmarks for professionalism in Indian football.
The AIFF’s Academy Accreditation Programme is widely regarded as a cornerstone for assessing the quality and standards of football academies across the country. In the 2025–26 cycle, 142 academies applied for accreditation, with only three clubs earning the coveted 5-star rating. Punjab FC’s inclusion in this elite group underscores the academy’s structured approach, robust training methodology, and emphasis on holistic player development.
