New Delhi, November 6: Punjab FC gave their supporters the perfect gift on Saturday night — a thrilling victory to reach the AIFF Super Cup 2025 semi-finals on the very evening the club hosted its first-ever fan meet in Delhi.
Held at Social Saket, the event saw over 100 fans, along with journalists and social media influencers, come together to cheer for the Shers during the live screening of their crucial group-stage clash against Bengaluru FC.
The atmosphere was electric, featuring live hip-hop performances, football freestyle acts, games, and a football quiz — all adding to the carnival-like vibe. But the real celebration began when Punjab FC edged past Bengaluru FC in a dramatic penalty shootout, sending fans into wild celebration and turning the event into a night of joy, unity, and pride.
“I’m super excited. I think that day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year the club is developing and achieving higher goals. And we do it by using young Indian players at the same time. I think we are a team that deserves to show the way Indian football should move forward,” coach Panagiotis Dilmperis said after the game.
The successful fan meet marked a milestone moment for Punjab FC as the club deepened its connection with supporters beyond the pitch. The evening not only showcased the growing passion for football in the region but also reflected the strong sense of community building around the club’s journey.
With a semi-final spot secured and an unforgettable night shared with fans, Punjab FC’s first fan meet was nothing short of a super success, both on and off the field.
